FAQS

Where will we sleep?

Sleepover participants will sleep on the floor of the Dangerous Lagoon tunnel. There are no other areas in the Aquarium available for sleeping. Due to the nature of the tunnel, guests in the same party will be sleeping in pairs, in succession throughout the tunnel. Please be aware you will be sleeping in extremely close proximity to other sleepover participants.

What is included in the price?

Your sleepover package includes:

  • Admission to the Aquarium for the evening and the following day
  • Hands-on, take home activity in the classroom
  • A late night snack and morning continental breakfast
  • Spend a night sleeping in the Dangerous Lagoon tunnel
  • And more!

Sleepovers are offered as a complete package only, no program substitutions. We will try and accommodate all special requests, including dietary restrictions; however, due to the public nature of the Aquarium, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

What do I need to bring?

Recommended items include:

  • Sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Air mattress or foam pad (due to space constraints, single- or double-size only)
  • Comfortable clothes/pajamas for sleeping
  • Indoor footwear
  • Overnight toiletries
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Camera

Should sleepover guests choose to bring an inflatable air mattress, guests are responsible for inflating their own. There are outlets in and around the tunnel. It does also get cold in the tunnel at night, so it is recommended to bring appropriate sleeping attire. Please note, only basic bathroom facilities are available for use by sleepover participants.

Where can I park overnight?

The Aquarium does not have a parking lot, but there are several overnight pay parking lots in the area, including the Rogers Center and Metro Toronto Convention Center. Please call these facilities directly to inquire about pricing and availability.

What if we want to add additional participants to our Sleepover reservation?

Sleepovers have a limited capacity which is filled on a first come, first served basis. Please contact sleepovers@ripleysaquariumofcanada.com about adding additional participants.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations are processed according to the schedule below,

• 15 days or more prior to sleepover date: 100% refund (less $60 administration fee for whole group sleepover, i.e. school, guide or scout, cancellation)
