The Stingray Experience will happen at scheduled times throughout the day/week. Please select your preferred date and time on the pre-registration form.
The Stingray Experience is $99 per person (until June 26) and $120.00 per adult and $110.00 per child (Peak season – June 27 to September 7). Those 13 years and younger must be accompanied by a paying adult. $25 additional fee per person for those participating in the 3 pm session. Prices do not include HST. Price is in Canadian dollars.
Annual pass holders will receive a 20% discount on the Stingray Experience.
In order to provide an appropriately sized wet-suit, we need your measurements.

The entire Stingray Experience is 2 hours, including a Behind the Scenes tour and time to change. The in-water time is approximately 30 minutes. Participants can visit the Aquarium before their experience, after or both.
No, Stingray Experience participants will only be entering the shallow part of Ray Bay. A lifeguard will be present. However, if you are participating in a session which includes snorkeling it is recommended that you are comfortable in deep water and have some basic swimming skills.
Only Aquarium husbandry staff members are permitted to feed our animals.

Please bring a bathing suit (mandatory), and shower shoes (e.g. flip flops). Towels and basic personal care products are provided.
A maximum of six (6) people can do the Stingray Experience at a time. If you are participating in a session which includes snorkeling, the maximum number of participants is 4.
Admission to the Aquarium, a Behind the Scenes tour of the Aquarium through animals care areas and filtration systems, a presentation on stingrays, wet suit, and booties for use during the program, access to a change room and shower, USB with a minimum of 50 photographs of your experience, a souvenir towel and bag, and 30 minutes in-water time with the stingrays.
Meet at Guest Services at designated start time, welcome and sign waivers, store belongings in locker room, Behind the Scenes tour, change in to wet-suits, introductory talk about Stingrays, in-water experience, change out of wet-suits, and wrap up.
Pre-registration is required. Walk-ups cannot be accommodated.
Guests are welcome to watch in the in-water portion of the program as long as they have purchased Aquarium admission.
Ray Bay is a public area of the Aquarium. Aquarium guests will be able to watch the in-water portion of the experience.
Some modifications/accommodations can be made depending on the nature of the disability. This experience involves climbing and descending two short sets of uneven steps, walking on wet surfaces, and kneeling for 15-30 minutes. It takes place in a potentially noisy space visible to Aquarium Guests. Please speak with Aquarium staff prior to booking to ensure we can accommodate your needs.
